Since 1981 Ice Cream Patio has focused on the quality and consistency of our products. Our story began by scooping our homemade gelato recipe at our first gelateria in the St. Regis region of Toronto. The demand for our product led to an expansion of our facilities as one of the first Canadian food manufacturers to produce Italian frozen desserts. By the 90s, Ice Cream Patio products were served at banquet halls, restaurants and were sold in grocery stores across Ontario, including Longo’s, Loblaws, Your Independent Grocer and many more. We’ve come full-circle in 2020, launching a retail component to the Ice Cream Patio brand you know and love. Utilizing our restaurant space as a marketplace we offer our customers select imported groceries, meats, fish and frozen produce from local suppliers and Ice Cream Patio-brand gelato, frozen foods and meal kits.

We have been producers of ice cream, baked goods, doughs, sauces and dressings for foodservice brands across Canada, USA and Mexico. After our production facility was bought out in 2012, we changed gears to focus on our customers directly through our restaurant and local network. We currently work with food distributors and independent retailers across Ontario, making it possible for hospitality establishments to source locally made products and proprietary goods for private label brands and establishments.
